Dates: 6th, 7th and 8th June 2014 – Queen’s Birthday long weekend. The conference is on the Saturday and Sunday. Monday is the public holiday.

Deluxe Queen $119 per night (normal Peak Rate $140 p n);

King $160 per night (normal Peak Rate $190 pn);

Family 1Q 2S $175 per night (normal Peak Rate $210 pn);

Venue Conference Facilities: Equipment supplied - Conference Room 1, Projector, USB connection, 2.5 m screen, presentation table, DVD microphone, lectern, tables and chairs.

Conference Costs: Registration fee of $100.00 per person includes the menus detailed below.

Conference Payments: All registration and dinner fees are to be paid in advance to the A.N.S. Queensland Branch, the organiser of this conference, by 30/5/14 or before, to finalise catering arrangements.

Preliminary Times and Notices:

Friday afternoon / evening: setup/check conference rooms and informal get-together for early arrivals in the Tree-house Restaurant & Bar at 6.00 pm adjacent to the motel reception.

Saturday morning: 8.30 am registrations and issue of Conference name badges, Certificates of Attendance, voting slips and programmes. Set up displays.

9.00-9.15 am Welcome address: A.N.S. Patron/Qld Branch President

Saturday Night: 6.30-7.00 pm gather – Conference Dinner and award/s presentations in the Tree-house Restaurant

Sunday morning: 8.30 A.N.S. Council Joint Meeting by Sydney and Branch Council Members

Sunday morning: 9.00 am Resume conference

Conference close: A.N.S. President John Veltmeyer 4.30 pm

Papers and Presentations:

Speakers at the conference are requested to provide a title and brief abstract of 200 words by 1/5/2014. For those wishing to use the available projector, images only can be displayed in a series of jpeg format files from a USB drive. Those wishing to use a MS PowerPoint presentation, it will also be able to be accommodated from a USB drive.

As per previous conferences, please confine your address to 20 minutes. That will give 5 minutes of question time and a change-over and introduction between talks.
